School of Theatre > For educators > At the Theatre > Student matinees / groups
Middle and high school students can attend theatre with their classes as part of the Student Matinee Series. Student matinee tickets are $10 each, and a complimentary chaperone ticket is included with every ten student tickets purchased. Students attending the shows also receive study guides with activities and exercises to enhance student understanding of the performances and California Department of Education content standards in language arts, history, social science and theatre.
Performances listed as “Student Matinees” are reserved exclusively for student groups, and include post-show Q&A sessions with the cast. Student groups of 15 or more can attend on other select dates for $15 per ticket. Learn more about group tickets.

To purchase your tickets, please complete this order form (PDF) and mail, fax or email the completed form to us. Please note that we now require payment in full at the time of your order. See order form for terms and conditions.
We strongly recommend having your tickets mailed to you (for no extra charge) so that you can distribute them to your class before the show. You’ll save time at the theatre, plus you’ll have more control over where your students sit.
